Mayflower Congregational Church - Music

Music at Mayflower...

Under the artistic direction of Chrisann Lowe, Mayflower Church has an enthusiastic and talented music program, with adult vocal choir, children's choir, adult handbell choir, and a beginning ringers handbell choir.  Small in number, but extremely talented and accomplished, many music program members are also involved in professional musical groups, making for a very special and beautiful ministry in praising God during worship.

• Choir: The adult vocal choir sings a challenging variety of sacred, spiritual, classical, and traditional music. Choir rehearsal is at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesdays. In the summer, small groups and individuals provide special music.

• Handbells: The Mayflower Ringers proudly ring 5 octaves of Malmark handbells and 6 octaves of Choirchimes, and they play for church service approximately once a month. Rehearsal is on Wednesdays at 6 p.m.

• Beginning Handbells: Beginning handbell choir, the Praise Ringers, is comprised of both beginning adults and children. If you are looking to "get your feet wet", this is YOUR chance.   Currently meeting on Friday evenings, this group performs

• Children: The Children's choir sings on several occasions throughout the year and perform a delightful Christmas Pageant each year.  All ages welcome.
